2/08/2008 · I’m trying to print from what ever application they open in. I can print pdf files from preview if they had been saved prior to upgrading to Leopard, but not since.

does the 5800 network printer have PS and PCL capability, and what driver have you tried? I found with our Xerox network MFD’s, some PDF’s refused to print to the PS Q’s, but send it to a PCL Q and it worked – something to do with fonts, that the PS driver can’t decode according to Xerox.

Can’t print pdf documents HP Support Community – 6865310

23/09/2008 · Hello. I have an XP Pro computer connected to a Xerox C3210 colour laser. I can print any document type to itanything bar PDF’s. When I go to print a simple one page PDF doc, the computer slows down dramatically and then opens the print progress dialogue box and it just sits on 0% and nothing happens.
@BjP827 . I know many pdf documents won’t allow you to print on any printers but NOT all. Do you know the source of documents you are trying to print ?

Solution: Can’t print Microsoft Office documents, or printing documents disappear in Windows 7 ‎07-20-2016 01:53 PM The link that you provide is going to a “Protect my PC from viruses” page.
Some PDF documents have a setting which prevents you from printing them. Authors can set this printing restriction when they write a document.

Not all PDF files are the same so they can’t all be printed the same way. There are countless variables that influence how a PDF file is created and how it will print. As the popularity of the PDF file format increases in the AEC market, reprographers will need to be better equipped to handle their complexities. Understanding the issues is a good first step.

does the 5800 network printer have PS and PCL capability, and what driver have you tried? I found with our Xerox network MFD’s, some PDF’s refused to print to the PS Q’s, but send it to a PCL Q and it worked – something to do with fonts, that the PS driver can’t decode according to Xerox.
